Our half-day PRIVATE guided food tour offers the opportunity to try delicious Jordanian food, sample fresh juices, & explore Amman with a local tour guide. Start with a tour of the Amman Citadel: learn about the continuous occupation of Amman & have 360-degree views of the city. Next the Roman Theatre: climb to the top of the 6000-seat theatre that is built right into the mountain. 8 food tastings: Walk to the old downtown including: fruit & vegetable market, gold souq, Amman’s oldest mosque, sample seasonal market products, fruit juice, dine where the locals eat, enjoy local desserts & more! You will not go home hungry on this tour. Please advise of dietary restrictions before the tour—we can easily accommodate vegetarian diets. Jordanian food is consumed with a lot of pita bread, dairy, and meat.

- Wander the ruins of Amman's tallest hill with our local guide. Learn about the city's ancient history and enjoy 360 degree views of Amman's whitewashed hills.
- Climb the steps of Amman's Roman Theatre and marvel at the ancient craftmanship and accoustics
- After the Citadel and Roman Theatre our guide will take you into the winding streets of the old downtown. Try street foods, sit and enjoy local meals and sweets and experience the bustling market atmosphere. There are 8-10 stops ranging from sit down eats to tastings in the markets.
