- Travelers who book this experience will start their journey in Kizimkazi, a charming and traditional fishing village located in the southernmost part of Zanzibar. From there, they will set off on a 45-minute boat ride to the stunning Pungume Sandbank. Along the way, there is a chance to encounter playful dolphins, and if spotted, travelers will have the opportunity to swim alongside them in the crystal-clear waters. Upon arrival at Pungume Sandbank, they can explore the pristine surroundings by swimming and snorkeling in the vibrant marine environment. While they are immersed in the beauty of the sandbank, the skipper will prepare a delicious seafood BBQ featuring freshly grilled lobster, prawns, octopus, and calamari, accompanied by chapati, Swahili salad, rice, and a rich coconut sauce.
