Visitors can admire its grandeur, serene atmosphere, and the impressive 91 meter tall minaret. The Grand Mosque is closed on Fridays for tourists and open to Muslims.
- The Royal Opera House Muscat is a magnificent cultural landmark showcasing Omani and international art and music. Visitors can explore its stunning architecture, lavish interiors, and world-class performances in a truly iconic setting. The opera facilities are free, such as the library and the market, but admission to the theatre costs 8$
- Enjoy the view of the crystal blue waters with the stone mountains and locally it is called the beach of love
- Look at the life of fishermen as they sell the fish they caught early in the morning, such as tuna, shark and squid, and see the selling system as an auction.
- Muttrah Souq is one of the oldest markets in Muscat. Locals still use this market to buy many hand-made products, such as the Omani khanqar, which is a man’s adornment, and gold and silver, which are women’s adornments.
- A visit to the Sultan's Palace, called Al Alam Palace, in old Muscat, surrounded by mountains and old watchtowers.
