- Discover the rich spice heritage of Zanzibar, also known as the Spice Island. Immerse yourself in the fragrant world of cloves, vanilla, nutmeg, ginger, pepper, cinnamon, turmeric, lemongrass, and more. Take a tour of the spice farms and see, smell, and taste some of the spices grown on the island. Learn about their traditional uses and medicinal properties. As a highlight of the tour, watch a demonstration by a traditional coconut climber.
