- World war cemeteries is the final resting place for commonwealth for Greek, British, Australian, Indian war soldiers have a look also at the Australian war memorial which is to be found very near to the cemetery.
- a very nice-looking and well built Fortress where the bodies of the German soldiers, who took part in the battle of El Alamein, rest in peace. ( a must-visit)
