ITINERARY

• This is a PRIVATE TOUR which will include only your party! At 10:00 am, our Tour Guide and driver will meet you at the lobby of your Hotel. Then will start exploring the Sights of Cappadocia.
• Visit to Kaymaklı Underground City or Özkonak Underground City; Kaymaklı Underground City is an impressive ancient structure located in the Central Anatolian region of Turkey. Built during the early 8th century, it is one of the largest and best preserved underground cities in the region. The city has an intricate network of tunnels and chambers, which include churches, stables, storage rooms, and more. It was used to provide refuge from enemies and extreme weather conditions. It is composed of 8 levels, with the deepest level reaching a depth of 50m. Özkonak Underground City is one of the largest and most impressive ancient underground cities in the world. Located in Cappadocia, Turkey, it extends to a depth of approx. 60m and contains over 100 tunnels, galleries, and chambers. It was used for protection from enemies and provided a safe haven for up to 3,000 people. It is estimated to have been in use from the 8th century BC until the 7th century AD.
• Çavuşin Valley is an awe-inspiring sight located in the Central Anatolian Region of Turkey. It is home to the Fairy Chimney rock formations, an ancient Byzantine castle, and the Mutlu Kapı (Happy Door) arch. The valley also boasts many hot springs and a breathtakingly beautiful landscape making it a popular tourist destination.
• Avanos and Potteries are revered for their traditional pottery-making techniques, which have been passed down through generations. The pottery is hand-thrown and decorated with unique designs, making each piece unique. The clay used to make the pottery is sourced from the nearby Red River, and the kilns used to fire the pottery are wood-burning. This process has been used for centuries and is a source of great pride for local artisans. In Avanos, visit an authentic family-run pottery workshop located in an underground cave. Clay from the Kızılırmak (Red) River was first used in pottery production by the Hittites prior to 1700BC and continues as an art form today. Watch a master demonstrate how to make a pot, and watch the painters and glazers apply their delicate patterns. Have a go at the potter’s wheel yourself and make your own unique pot if you wish.
• Göreme Open-Air Museum is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Cappadocia, Turkey. It is renowned for its elaborate rock-cut churches, decorated with frescoes, dating from the 10th-13th centuries. The stunning landscape of the area is a great backdrop for the museum and its many historical monuments. There are several chapels to explore, each with its own unique and beautiful frescoes.
• Uçhisar Castle is a spectacular rock formation located in the heart of Cappadocia, Turkey. It is one of the most iconic landmarks in the region, with its unique and mysterious appearance. It is estimated to be around 2200 years old, and is the highest point in Cappadocia, standing at an elevation of 1550 meters above sea level. • Paşabağ and Zelve are two valleys near the city of Goreme in Cappadocia, Turkey. Both sites contain some of the world's most stunning fairy chimneys, or cone-shaped rock formations, which have been sculpted by wind and water erosion. The valleys also boast several Byzantine-era churches and monasteries, as well as a variety of rock-cut dwellings, chapels, and even tombs. The two areas are now open-air museums, offering visitors a unique insight into ancient history.
• Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley, is a stunning landscape of eroded rocks and moon-like scenery in Cappadocia, Turkey. It is home to some of the most unique rock formations in the world, including fairy chimneys, and offers spectacular views of the nearby Erciyes and Hasan mountains. Devrent Valley is the perfect spot for hiking, photography, and stargazing.
• Pigeon Valley is a stunning gorge in Cappadocia, Turkey. It is known for its spectacular natural beauty and its rich cultural heritage. The valley is surrounded by spectacular fairy chimneys and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. • Göreme Panorama is a breathtaking landscape in Cappadocia, Turkey. It is famous for its unique rock formations, underground cities, and cave churches. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is ranked among the most spectacular places to visit in the world.
• At the end of the tour at around 16:00, we return to your Hotel with a panoramic view of the region on the way back to your Hotel.
