ITINERARY

• Kaş is a charming town that offers something for everyone. Its lively center, boutique shops, stunning sunsets, and breathtaking coastal views are sure to leave you in awe. With our tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore nearby sites with ease. We'll start with a morning transfer from the designated pick-up point in Kaş at 9:30 am.
• We will meet at Demre harbour, where you'll board the boat for Kekova. Once the anchor is raised, we'll set sail.
• Embark on an unforgettable journey around the Sunken City of Kekova to unveil its intriguing history. The ancient city of Dolchiste, which dates back to the 2nd century, was submerged by an earthquake. The remains of this underwater city are truly captivating and leave a lasting impression on all who explore them.
• Swimming is prohibited due to protection. However, you can explore the site by taking a boat ride to admire the ruins and capture unforgettable photos.
• Our boat will anchor at Kaleköy port, also known as ancient Simena, for one hour. During this time, you can explore the charming village which houses castle ruins and a necropolis. A hike up the hillside will treat you to stunning views of the Kekova region. Alternatively, if you'd like to stay in the water, you can enjoy another swim in the beautiful blue waters while admiring Simena Castle from below.

• We’ll stop to swim in Gökkaya Bay, where you can experience the natural beauty of the area and opt to participate in one of the various exciting water sports on offer.

• Demre Harbour After your fascinating trip on the water, our boat will drop anchor in Demre port, where your tour continues with a visit to a nearby museum.
• During this stop, there are two main highlights that you can explore at your own pace. Firstly, there is a Roman-style theatre which happens to be the largest in Lycia. Secondly, there are eerie rock-cut tombs that have been carved into the cliffs above. You'll have plenty of time to explore both of these fascinating attractions.
• Discover the most famous archaeological site in Demre! Step into the past and marvel at the ancient ruins of Myra, some of which date back to the 5th century B.C. During your visit, you'll be able to explore the two main attractions of this destination: a Roman-style theatre (which happens to be the largest in Lycia!) and eerie rock-cut tombs that have been carved into the cliffs above.
• Our tour continues with the Santa Claus Museum in Demre town centre. Initially built in 520 A.D., this interesting archaeological building started its operation as a church, built in memory of St. Nicholas of Myra, a 4th-century patron saint. Here, you can explore the remains of this former church, taking yourself back in time to when the ancient city of Myra still existed.
