- Head to Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman sultans. Visit the various courtyards, chambers, and exhibits displaying imperial treasures and artifacts. **Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays, replaced by Underground Cistern or Turkish and Islamic Arts Musuem.

- End your day at the Grand Bazaar, one of the world's oldest and largest covered markets. Wander through its labyrinthine alleys, shop for souvenirs, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. **The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays, so only the Spice Bazaar is visited on Sundays.
