- "Winter entertainment meetings", an important element of Turkish folk culture, appear as BARANA in Konya. It is a 600-year-old legacy that Konya Governor Cem Sultan, one of the sons of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror, left to the art and culture of our city by bringing scholars and governors together in notes. "Barana", an organization that provides social solidarity, cohesion and unity especially in village and town life, is included in the "Performing Arts" section of intangible cultural heritage.
