ITINERARY
- You will be picked up from your hotel in Cappadocia between 9.00 am – 9.30 am and drive along Kızılirmak (Red River) through the pretty town of Gumuşkent to Hacibektas.
- The convent-complex of Hacı Bektaş Veli, formerly the leader's home and centre of the international Bektaşi Order, is now an Ethnographic Museum. Here you can learn about the life of 13th century spiritual leader and witness the famous Sema ceremony (Whirling Dervishes)
- Visit the house Mustafa Kemal Atatürk used while staying in the area. The house is full of personal artifacts and items used by the Turkish Republic's revered founder and first president.
