ITINERARY
- You will meet your guide at your accommodation and then drive to Rumeli Fortress for breakfast at one of the best local cafes in Istanbul. There, you will enjoy a traditional Turkish breakfast featuring dishes such as Turkish menemen, sucuklu omelet, kaymak, and honey.
- After breakfast, we will drive to Karakoy and stroll along the vibrant and lively streets, taking a break for a cup of tea or coffee and savoring the freshest baklava in Istanbul, or perhaps even in the world.
- We will then take a ferry from the European side of Istanbul to the Asian side, to Kadikoy (also known as Kalkedon, an ancient name meaning "the city of the blind"). While there, you can try stuffed mussels, or if you're feeling adventurous, why not have a kokorec sandwich, a famous street food made with lamb intestines?
- The final destination will be a family-operated winery. You will have the opportunity to sample three glasses of local wines accompanied by regional cheeses.
