• Zelve Open Air Museum is known as the longest continuously inhabited settlement in Cappadocia region. It is also the oldest settlement in the region is located approximately 2 km east of Goreme district. You will be able to see the rock-carved houses and caves of the people who lived here until 65-70 years ago.
• Clay from the Kizilirmak River was first used for pottery making by the Hittites 1700 BC, and continues to exist as an art form until today. Watch a master demonstrate pottery making and painters apply delicate patterns, or step onto the potter's wheel yourself and make your own unique pot.

Often accompanied by plain kilims, these rugs are an integral part of Turkey's cultural identity. Making a handmade Turkish rug is not just a craft, it is also an art form in its own.
