ITINERARY
- Take a day trip from Hurghada to some of Egypt's most beautiful historical sites. Enjoy free pick-up and drop-off and the services of an Egyptologist as you explore the ancient sites.
- After pickup from your hotel, head to Luxor to visit Egypt's most famous monuments, including the Temple of Karnak.
- Relax over lunch at a local restaurant, then take a traditional Egyptian motor boat, to cross over the Nile River to the opposite bank (optional).
- See the impressive Colossi of Memnon, the last remnants of the Temple of Amenophis III.
- Be enchanted by the architecture of the Valley of the Kings and visit the temple of Hatshepsut, one of the female rulers of ancient Egypt.
- Cross the Nile to the west bank to meet an extensive complex of 63 royal tombs. Valley of the Kings is where the golden treasures of King Tut-Ench-Amun are lying with his original accessories in his tomb. Look up and down the writings on the walled sides of each tomb which recorded the story of each King in the hieroglyphic language.
