- We will first cross the Plain of Cafres, a green space of tranquility, in the middle of cows and meadows.
- A must-see stop at the Nose of Beef to admire the magnificent panorama of the immense valley of the "River of the Ramparts".
- We will stop at Commerson Crater: it is an ancient volcanic crater created 2000 years ago!
- We then continue our journey to the beautiful Plain of Sands: a volcanic desert plain thousands of years old. It's like Mars.
- We arrive at the Pas de Bellecombe: facing us the imposing volcano of Piton de la Fournaise culminating at 2632 meters of altitude. It is one of the most active volcanoes in the world!
- Bourg Murat is where we have lunch: traditional Creole meal or fast food - meal price not included in the tour price
- Through this fun family museum, you will understand and learn a lot of exciting information about the volcano and its origins! A 4D cinema screening is also possible.
