ITINERARY
- I highly recommend starting the tour early in the morning to avoid crowds and hot summer weather, allowing ample time to explore the city. We'll begin by walking on the main trail (6 km), starting from the Petra Visitor Center through the Siq to the Treasury. We'll then climb a mountain for a bird's-eye view of the theater, followed by visits to the Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, and Qasr Al-Bint (Dushara Palace). This trail typically takes around 3 hours to complete, depending on your pace, with a minimum of 2.5 hours. Note that climbing to the Monastery isn't included in this itinerary, but we can discuss it towards the end of the tour if you're interested.
