- Serrekunda market is a typical, colourful and hectic African market. Since Serrekuna is the largest city it the Gambia, it makes sense that this is the biggest market that can be found in the country. At this market you can find all sorts of things to buy: clothing, food, furniture, and even animals! If you are looking for a perfect souvenir to take home, Serrekunda market is the place to find one.
- One of the most famous attractions of the Gambia: the Kachikally Crocodile Pool. Here, you are guided through a museum, where the culture and history of the Gambia will be explained by our guide. He will tell you all sorts of information about the music, traditions, languages and more of which the country has to offer! After this, you are able to visit the crocodile pool. Here you watch the crocodiles and take photos of them!
- At the Brikama Craft Market, you can find beautifully crafted woodworking. Brikama is known for its crafts, ranging from woodcarving to netweaving. This is the ideal spot to purchase African art.
- In Sangyang, there is the possibility to visit a local village. Here you can see how the people in the Gambia live and what their culture looks like in their domestic space.
