ITINERARY
- With eager anticipation the tour group departs from the starting point and heads up to the highest pass in South Africa, Sani Pass. We travel through Himeville to the World Heritage Site of the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park, following the Mkomazana River up the scenic Sani Valley to the South African Border Post (border formalities) and the Lesotho Border.
- At the top of Black Mountain Pass at 3240m ASL we enjoy some of the highest mountain peaks in Southern Africa. We arrive in the town of Mokhotlong and enjoy a picnic lunch together We visit a cultural Basotho village OR go horse-riding into the Lesotho Highlands
- We make our back to Sani Pass. Enjoy a cup of something hot or cold at the Highest Pub in Africa. After border formalities, we make our way back down Sani Pass. Arrive back in Underberg around 6-6:30pm
