ITINERARY
- This is the the palace which was built in 1461 and used until 1850s as the residental and parliment house of the empire. The logest palace used by the Ottoman empire. The palace is devided in two sectios as Harem and Selamlık. Selamlık the men and Harem the female section ofthe palace. Your guide will take you inside with the skipping line priorty and will share the history and the stories about the Sultans and his concubines, the polictics, the high and the low period of the empire.
- This is the oldest church built in Istanbul in 4 century A.D.The only church which wasn't converted to a mosque but used as the arsenal of the janiseries ( the guards of the palace). Later used as the first archeology museum of Ottoman Empire and now a museum.
