This tour introduces you to rural life in the Aegean region. You'll visit Şirince, a beautiful Aegean village of just 600 inhabitants, situated on a beatuful hillside. Here you will see vast orchards and try some of the local specialties including different fruit wines. The highlight of your day will be when you are taken to the "cherry village" and are welcomed into the homes and courtyards of the local villagers, where you will be served with their favorite traditional Turkish homemade dishes. You will make a stop at a Turkish weaving arts, carpet, and handicraft village where a carpet presentation will take place. Finally, you will visit the Ephesus Theme Park for a refreshment stop and exclusive interactive show.

Actually, the village, the name of which in Turkish really means "sweet," used to be known as "Cirkince," which means "ugly," an ironic impression on the beauty of the village and also used to prevent others. As people knew that the town's site and architecture were really spectacular, in 1926 they changed their name into Sirince. The village of Sirince in Izmir is very attractive and famous for its homemade wines and its traditional architecture. It is a small village in the mountains and it is perfect for seeing natural Turkey. All through the village are shops where you can put your wine tasting skills to the test.
