- We visit Hagia Sophia, one of the most important structures in the world, and discover the architectural style and history of the interior.
- It is the palace where the Ottoman sultans lived and used as the administrative center of the state for 400 years of the 600-year history of the Ottoman Empire. Also for the harem, a 16th century palace where the sultan and his servants lived, with hundreds of rooms and courtyards covered with mosaics.
- The Sultan Ahmet Mosque, built by Sedefkar Mehmet Ağa, a student of Mimar Sinan, is known as the most ostentatious mosque and with the only 6 minarets of the Ottoman Empire thanks to its domes rising one above the other and its rich decorative tile details.
- The cistern, built in ancient times to meet the water needs of the city, is only among the historical monuments and presents itself to the view of visitors, even if there is water today. One of Istanbul's magnificent historical structures is the Basilica Cistern, located southwest of Hagia Sophia. This large underground cistern, built by the Byzantine emperor Justinian I (527-565), was called by the people "Palazzo della Basilica" because of the marble columns that rose from the water and seemed to be innumerable.
